# Michael Rochlitz

Michael Rochlitz is a political economist at the University of Oxford, where he directs Russian and East European Studies. He researches how political institutions and technology shape economic development and public life, with a particular interest in Russia and other post-Soviet societies. At ONRS he has lectured on Russia’s war economy and moderated a discussion with Andrei Lankov about Russia and North Korea.
